Property Crime Arrests By Bryan And College Station Police

A man and woman from Iola were found inside what was supposed to be a vacant rental duplex in west Bryan. 36 year old Justin Reeves and 35 year old Holli White were arrested on a total 14 charges. A maintenance employee for the property owner let three Bryan police officers inside the unit on Sprucewood. According to the arrest report, one of the officers found Reeves in a rear bedroom clothed only by a blanket. White was found in a closet. Officers also found a new scooter that was reported stolen, a B-B handgun, two credit cards and prescription drugs belonging to other people, and drug paraphernalia. According to online records, this is the third time Reeves has been in jail in the last five months…following a January arrest in College Station for criminal trespassing and a February arrest by Bryan police for driving with an invalid license with prior convictions.

A College Station man who pleaded guilty last September to a vehicle burglary was arrested Tuesday morning on charges of trying to break into two more vehicles. According to the College Station police arrest report, a witness called 9-1-1 reporting a man walking around the Huntington Apartments on Dartmouth checking door handles. After the man saw the witness, he ran across the street and hid in the bushes near Wolf Pen Creek park. The man was found by a DPS trooper and identified by the witness. That led to the arrest of 20 year old Jacob Garbs, who was sentenced last September to one hundred days in the county jail after admitting to separate cases of vehicle burglary, drunk driving, resisting arrest, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
