Two Houston men have admitted to a large shoplifting at Wal-Mart on Briarcrest in Bryan.

In March 2013, the men walked out with a fishing pole and a 45 quart cooler containing 21 tablet computers, valued at $6,045.

Less than a week later, the pair returned and tried again but were caught by a loss prevention officer.

Investigators connected the pair to taking $29,913 in cell phones from a Wal-Mart in Spring and $8,282 of electronics from the Wal-Mart in Huntsville.

19 year old Darryl Kinney and 31 year old Jermaine Lang pleaded guilty to organized retail theft.

Lang was sentenced to eight years in prison and Kinney to four years.

The Brazos County District Attorney’s office reports Lang still has cases pending in Harris and Walker counties.
