Plea Agreements Reached With Two Men Arrested In 2019 For Possessing Cocaine Valued At $260,000 Dollars

In September 2019, Bryan police and the department of public safety seize nearly six pounds of cocaine valued at the time at $260,000 dollars.

Two men who were arrested after the search of a Bryan apartment recently appeared in Brazos County district court to admit to possessing the cocaine.

On Monday (April 1), 51 year old Julian Macias of San Antonio, formerly of Bryan, was sentenced to ten years in prison with the possibility of ten years probation after serving 180 days.

In February, 46 year old Christopher Hector Gutierrez of Bryan was sentenced to 50 years.

Both men entered plea agreements with the district attorney’s office.

In addition to the cocaine, BPD and DPS seized $31,000 dollars cash and two vehicles.
