COLLEGE STATION, Texas—Sophomore Rachel Hake and senior Ashley Dotson were named November riders of the month by the Southeastern Conference on Wednesday.
Hake was named fences rider of the month after an undefeated 2-0 record in November. Her wins against No. 2 Auburn and Delaware State were the first MVP performances of her 2015 campaign and her 89 against Auburn is a new team season-high. Hake averaged an impressive 88 points per ride in November.
Dotson was named reining rider of the month for the second time this season after improving to 7-0 on the year with a 3-0 record in November. Her 74.5 against No. 2 Auburn is a new team season-high. Dotson also won her second MVP of the year after a 69-68 performance against No. 9 Kansas State.
The two Aggie November riders of the month will join the rest of the Aggie Equestrian team on Jan. 30 to open up the spring season against No. 2 Georgia at home in the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
