Everyone interested in the future of public transportation in Brazos County is invited to participate in a study involving the Brazos Transit District and Texas A&M Transportation Services.
The transit district hired the Bryan/College Station metropolitan planning organization (MPO) to administer the study.
MPO interim director Bart Benthul says consultants are hosting two open houses on Thursday.
Thursday’s first gathering is on campus at the Memorial Student Center from 1 until 4 p.m. That’s followed by an open house from 5:30 until 7 in downtown Bryan at the Roy Kelley parking garage.
Benthul says a final report is scheduled to be finished in September, and there will be more public meetings at that time.
