One Of Two Men Who Shot Out Vehicle Windows In 2016 Is Back In Jail & Local Man Starts Serving Jail Time For Assaulting Daughter And Her Mother

WTAW 1620 Court Ruling

It’s been three years since two College Station men were arrested after windows of more than 100 vehicles around College Station were shot out. After both pleaded guilty to shooting out windows from 11 vehicles, one of the men is back in jail. The Brazos County district attorney’s office wants to revoke probation of 22 year old Noah Burns. He is accused of making no payments towards almost $6,700 dollars in restitution, choking a woman two months ago, and using illegal drugs. Burns, who faces serving two years in jail, also faces additional punishment for violating terms of probation after admitting to assaulting another woman two years ago. Burns’s partner in shooting out the windows, 21 year old Joseph Tran of College Station, served a 15 month sentence in a state jail. Tran has also made no restitution payments.

A local man has started serving time for pushing his three year old daughter into a window and assaulting the child’s mother. 27 year old Armando Luis Gonzalez entered guilty pleas in Brazos County district court this week to separate cases where punishment will be served at the same time. Gonzalez received 12 months in jail after admitting to a felony charge of recklessly injuring his daughter. And he was sentenced to 300 days for grabbing the throat of the child’s mother then shaking her and hitting her head against the wall. The mother, Gabriella Hogan, was given probation last week for throwing hot water towards Gonzalez that hit their daughter. And she was arrested last weekend on a charge of abandoning her four year old son.
