One Man Sought, One Arrested Following Armed Robbery At College Station’s Sam’s Club

An armed robbery Wednesday night at Sam’s Club has College Station police looking for one man who threatened an employee with a knife, and the arrest of a second man on a charge of assisting in the theft of a $599 dollar digital camera security system.

According to the arrest report, 27 year old Brickey Manvel Jr. of Channelview was in the store diverting attention from his accomplice when officers arrived.

Manvel, who was arrested on a charge of theft with two or more prior convictions, is jail in lieu of a $10,000 dollar bond.

The description of the man with the knife is an older black man of medium build with a mustache and curly hair and wearing glasses.

The arrest report referred to store video showing the vehicle the suspects were in as a silver four door sedan.

Anyone with information about the robbery, which was reported Wednesday just after 8 p.m., is asked to call CSPD at 979-764-3600.
