One Hospitalized, One Arrested in Late Night Wreck

Just after 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, College Station police responded to the area of FM 2818 and George Bush Drive for a major accident.

According to the arrest report, multiple witnesses said they saw a vehicle lose control, leave the road and hit a tree.

Officers found the driver and a passenger in the vehicle.

The passenger was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The driver, 19 year-old Brian Lockwood of Houston, was arrested for intoxication assault.

On January 15, 2019, at around 1:17 AM, officers with the College Station Police Department responded to the area of FM 2818 and George Bush Dr W for a major accident. Multiple people said they saw a vehicle lose control, leave the road, and hit a tree. When officers arrived on scene, they found the vehicle was occupied by a driver and a passenger. The passenger was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, and because of those injuries was later transported to a hospital able to offer a higher level of care.

During the investigation into the accident it was determined the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. Because of the injuries the passenger sustained due to the driver’s intoxication, the driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with Intoxication Assault. The driver of the vehicle is identified as:
