One Critically Injured From Crash In East Bryan

Tuesday night update:Bryan police continue to investigate a crash Tuesday afternoon on Highway 30 near Hardy Weedon Road that resulted in a critical injury.

Officers were told a car pulled out of the Powersports parking lot in front of a pickup.

The driver of the truck swerved to miss the car, but the truck flipped in the ditch.

The 19 year old man driving the truck is hospitalized at St. Joseph’s.

The 38 year old woman driving the car was not injured. She was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way from a private drive.

The wreck, reported at 4:30 p.m., closed the eastbound lanes of Highway 30 until 7:15 p.m.

According to Bryan police, an eastbound truck swerved to miss another vehicle that had pulled out in front of them.

The truck went into the ditch and rolled.

The driver of the truck was taken to St. Joseph’s in critical condition.

No one else was in the truck and police did not report any injuries from the other vehicle.
