Ole Miss Snaps Aggie Men’s Win Streak, 69-59

● Texas A&M saw its six-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday night with a 69-59 loss to Ole Miss inside Tad Smith Coliseum … the Aggies are now 15-6 on the season and 6-3 in SEC play.

TEAM NOTES

● The Aggies were guilty of 16 turnovers on the night, their most since committing 17 at Baylor on Dec. 9.

● Ole Miss owned a 33-32 lead at the intermission.

● The Aggies used the starting lineup combination of Alex Caruso, Jordan Green, Danuel House, Jalen Jones and Kourtney Roberson for the 12th time this season (9-3).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

● Sophomore forward Tavario Miller scored 13 points on the night, going 5-of-6 from the floor to produce his biggest offensive game since a 15-point effort vs. Northwestern State on the season’s opening night … the Long Island, Bahamas, native also pulled down six rebounds.

● Junior forward Jalen Jones tied a season-high with 11 boards in the contest to go along with eight points.

● Senior forward Kourtney Roberson contributed 12 points on 6-of-12 shooting.

● A&M head coach Billy Kennedy is now 65-55 in his fourth season at Texas A&M and 276-234 in 17 years as a head coach.

UP NEXT

● The Aggies will play their fourth road game in two weeks on Saturday when they head to Columbia, Mo., to face Missouri in a 5 p.m. contest inside Mizzou Arena … The contest will be nationally televised by ESPNU.
