An off-duty armored car driver whose route includes a Bryan Hispanic grocery store is accused of an armed robbery where $24,000 dollars was taken.

Officer Kelley McKethan says 24 year old Reginald Brew II of Houston is one of two suspects in the holdup that took place on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

McKethan says store video included a tattoo of a large Transformer emblem on the top of Brew’s left hand.

A store employee, who was struck but not seriously injured, told police they were waiting for the money to be picked up by the armored car service at the time of the robbery.

Kelley McKethan visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
