College Station police report no major injuries following a four vehicle crash on the freeway during the Tuesday morning commute.
The chain reaction involved a SUV followed by three pickup trucks. They were all in the inside northbound lane in front of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Investigators were told when the SUV slowed down in morning rush hour traffic, the pickup behind the SUV moved to the left shoulder to avoid rear-ending the SUV.
The last truck in line struck the middle truck, and the middle truck sideswiped the first truck and the SUV.
The driver of the SUV, who complained of pain, was taken by an ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the last truck was ticketed for failing to control speed.
