The signs are going up but no date has been set to start an $11 million dollar project along the Earl Rudder Freeway.

Bob Colwell at the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) office in Bryan says X-ramp interchanges will be changed to diamond formations.

Colwell says more information will be released once the project starts impacting motorists.

New freeway ramps will be built from Emerald Parkway/FM 2818 in College Station to the William Joel Bryan Parkway/Boonville Road exit in Bryan.

Last November, the Bryan and College Station city councils approved reducing the speed limit along the six mile construction zone to 60 miles per hour.
