No Criminal Charges for Bryan Police Chief

The Bryan Police Chief will not face criminal charges after an inquiry by the Texas Attorney General’s Office.

A grand jury “no bill” was issued, meaning the grand jury did not find any basis for criminal charges against Ty Morrow for a November domestic disturbance at his home.

Morrow has been on paid administrative leave since shortly after that incident.

The next step is a routine internal affairs investigation which is expected to take a few weeks.

City Manager David Watkins will be in charge of reviewing the findings of the investigation.
