BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 4 Texas A&M equestrian team kicks off its 2024-25 season Thursday at 1 p.m. as they host No. 2 SMU at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.

Thursday’s contest marks the 22nd meeting all-time between the Aggies and Mustangs (0-1). The Maroon & White lead the all-time series, 13-8, and claimed the last meeting between the two sides a year ago at home by a score of 10-8.
The Aggies return 41 riders from last season, including 17 of the 20 starters from the NCEA Championship. A quartet of NCEA All-Americans lead the list of returners for the Maroon & White in Brooke Brombach (Flat), Mattie Gustin (Reining), Rylee Shufelt (Flat), and Maggie Nealon (Flat).
