BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 14 Texas A&M softball team is slated to host No. 25 Auburn in a three-game set beginning Friday at 6 p.m. at Davis Diamond.
Game two of the series is slated for a 4:30 p.m. first pitch, which will air nationally on SEC Network with Chuckie Kempf as play-by-play and Danielle Lawrie as analyst. Sunday’s finale is at 1 p.m. The bookend games of the three game series can be streamed on SEC Network+ with Donna Conrad as analyst for each game, while Chelsea Reber is on call for play-by-play in the series opener and Will Johnson as play-by-play on Sunday. All Aggie softball games can be heard on the 12th Man Mobile app or locally on Gospel 97.3
WE LIKE IT WITH 2 OUTS
Texas A&M (25-4, 5-1) has found success facing two outs batting .340 and driving in 79 runs, both ranking top three in the SEC. Allie Enright leads the team in two-out RBI with 18, followed by Jazmine Hill driving in 15. The dynamic duo lead the team in two-out batting average with Hill registering at .481 and Enright at .417. The Aggies have scored 42% (82-of-193) of their runs with two outs, including 16 home runs. Enright and Hill lead the team with four two-out round trippers each.
HOME OF THE 12TH MAN
The Maroon & White boasts a 125-44 (.739) record at Davis Diamond since it opened on April 27, 2018, and are 14-1 at home in 2024. The 12th Man is regarded as one of the most dedicated fan bases in the nation. Texas A&M ranks No. 5 in the SEC and No. 8 in the nation this season averaging 1,759 fans a game and already had a showing of 2,331 on Feb. 24 which is the second largest crowd in Davis Diamond history.
RETURN OF KOKO
After missing six games from February 29 to March 6, Koko Wooley has been causing problems since her return. The junior leads the team in the previous seven games in batting average (.307), hits (7), doubles (2) and stolen bases (3). Known across the league as a menace on the basepaths, the speedster leads the conference with three stolen bases in SEC action.
