Nicole Morgan invited to ASA/USA Softball Women’s National Team Selection Camp

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M softball junior Nicole Morgan has been invited to attend the ASA/USA Softball Women’s National Team Selection Camp, the softball national governing body announced today.

Morgan (The Woodlands, Texas) is the Aggies’ leading home run hitter this season, with 13 long balls this season, and also leads the team with a .400 average, 40 hits, 18 walks and 41 RBI. This is the first baseman’s first invitation from USA Softball.

The selection camp is set to take place June 9-13 in either Ashland, Ohio or Chula Vista, Calif. Players chosen to compete on the USA Women’s National Team will compete in several exhibition games and international competitions throughout the summer, ending in the 2015 Pan Am Games and 2014 World Championship qualifiers August 5-18 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
