The Pittsburgh Penguins, Boston Bruins and San Jose Sharks were
winners in the opener of their respective Stanley Cup playoff series. Marc-Andre
Fleury turned back 26 shots in the Pens’ 5-0 shutout of the New York Islanders,
and Nathan Horton notched the game-winner as the Bruins downed Toronto 4-1.
Antii Niemi  handled 29 shots and Dan Boyle scored the
game-winner midway through the third period of the Sharks’ 3-1 triumph at
Vancouver.
