Sponsors of the Newman 10 Business Performance Awards announced Wednesday entries are being accepted.
Nominations for the 19th annual list of the fastest growing private companies in Brazos County are being accepted through March 14th. The awards luncheon will be held June 6th.
Sponsors are seeking private small businesses with a five year sales history and show the fastest growth for the last three years.
The Newman 10 was established in 1994 by the Bryan Rotary Club, in cooperaetion with the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce and in partnership with the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. Newman Printing Company is the primary financial underwriter.

Nominations are also being accepted for the Bryan Rotary Club/Anco Insurance Award for Lifetime Business Achievement and the Bryan Rotary Club/Research Valley Partnership Commercialization Rising Star Award.

Also speaking was Ben Downs, this year’s Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman and Vice President and General Manager of Bryan Broadcasting, the 2009 recipient of the Lifetime Business Achievement Award.
