New York Rangers Advance to the Stanley Cup Finals

NEW YORK (AP) _ The New York Rangers stifled the Montreal Canadiens 1-0 in Game
6 of the NHL’s Eastern Conference finals last night to advance to the Stanley
Cup finals for the first time in 20 years. Dominic Moore scored the lone goal
late in the second period and Henrik Lundqvist needed to make just 18 saves,
five in the final period. Lundqvist had been 0-5 since 2009 in non-Game 7
clinching games.
