New Blinn Campus Possibly Coming to West Bryan

Blinn College trustees have scheduled a special meeting in Bryan Thursday morning, where the decision could be made to purchase land for a new campus in west Bryan.

According to the agenda, the trustees will hold an executive session to “deliberate the purchase of land containing approximately 94 acres located in the Zeno Phillip League, Abstract 94, in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas.”

After the executive session, possible action follows to make the purchase.

According to a map from the Brazos Central Appraisal District website, the land is located at 3781 Leonard Road. It is on the south side of Leonard, just west of FM 2818/Harvey Mitchell Parkway.

Blinn officials also sent an invitation to the “official announcement and press conference” “regarding the future of Blinn College in Brazos County” which follows the trustees meeting.

The trustees meeting is scheduled to start Thursday morning at 9 in the student center.
