New Attendance Zones Next Year For Incoming Bryan & Rudder High Freshmen

The Bryan school board Monday night unanimously adopted new attendance zones for Rudder and Bryan High schools.

Superintendent Tommy Wallis repeated this applies only to this year’s 8th graders, not current 9th through 11th graders.

Next year’s 9th graders have the option of going to the high school where their older siblings attend.

Administrators and a community committee recommended adding students at Rudder and reducing the population at Bryan High in an attempt to place both in the same UIL district with area 4-A schools.
