New Affordable Housing Designed and Built by Aggies

By the end of the summer, you could move into a house designed and built by Aggie students.

Groundbreaking took place recenty on the first project involving A&M’s College of Architecture and the Brazos Valley Affordable Housing Corporation (BVAHC).

BVAHC Executive Vice President Paul Turney says it will be the seventh house in the Falls Creek subdivision, which was acquired following the nationwide mortgage collapse five years ago.

Turney says up to $30,000 dollars in down payment assistance is available.

The subdivision is in an incorporated area of Bryan off Mumford Road south of FM 2818.
