What used to be the location of Rock Prairie Behavioral Health is a new addiction treatment center for adults.
Promises Brazos Valley is open and accepting clients experiencing substance abuse or co-occurring mental health disorders.
CEO Cameron House says the only requirement is that clients are 18 years or older.
“We are always waiting to see what demographic comes into our community. There could be a professional track that we might specify or if its veterans, we are looking to see what the need is in the community. But at this time we are just taking any adults whatsoever that need our help,” said House.
House says they are currently offering a detox service, which can last three to seven days, and residential treatment, which can take three to four weeks.
“We do wrap around care to help people learn a new way of coping and regain their life,” said House.
Promises Brazos Valley is hosting an open house on Friday, April 16th from 1-4 p.m.
