Negotiations Underway To Modify Experience Bryan/College Station Venue Agreement With The Texas A&M System

The end of this month marks five years since the Texas A&M system, local governments, and the Experience Bryan/College Station agency (EBCS) entered an agreement diverting hotel occupancy tax money towards the expansion of Kyle Field.

EBCS president Kindra Fry told the Bryan city council negotiations have been taking place to modify the preferred access agreement to provide access to more university locations.

Fry emphasized the A&M agreement remains getting preferred and not priority access over university employees and students.

Fry says during the last five years, the A&M agreement led to booking 95 events that generated almost 47,000 room nights.
