Navasota’s New Police Chief Is Sworn In

The swearing-in of Navasota’s new police chief was a family affair with connections to Grimes and Brazos counties.

Justin Leeth, who was raised in Bryan, talked about his father Greg, who is a lieutenant with the College Station police department.

Leeth also talked about the family of law enforcement in general.

Leeth was sworn in by Navasota’s municipal judge. John LeFlore noted he was sworn in as a peace officer in 1968 by Leith’s grandfather.

The new chief is a 2004 graduate of the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) Central Texas Police Academy.
