More Electric Bicycle And Scooter Thefts On The Texas A&M Campus

For the second time this month, Texas A&M police issues a news release about multiple thefts of electric scooters and bicycles.

The latest report lists 24 thefts. That brings the total to 39 between November 16th and December 12th.

17 of the 39 thefts have been outside residence halls or dormitories.

Multiple thefts over the 26 day period have also been reported from the Zachary engineering building, Stallings garage, and The Gardens on west campus.

Anti-theft suggestions from UPD includes registering electric scooters with transportation services, remove the battery pack when possible, and attaching a GPS tracking device.
