MLB to Shorten Regular Season if New CBA Not Reached by Deadline

Major League Baseball says it will begin canceling regular-season games if the league and the MLBPA can’t come to terms on a new collective bargaining agreement by Monday, according to ESPN.

Baseball has been in a lockout since early December and spring training has already been pushed back to March 5th.

Opening Day is scheduled to begin on March 31st.
