Update:
Bryan police report a missing eight year old boy has been found.
Officers located Gabriel Rodriguez less than one hour after the public notification Thursday morning.
It was determined that he spent the night with a friend and the friend’s family believed he had permission to be there.
BPD reports Rodriguez was returning home after hearing officers were looking for him.
The child was taken to his custodial parent.
Officers are working with Child and Protective Services to make sure he continues to be safe.

The Bryan Police Department need your help in locating an eight year old boy.
Gabriel Rodriguez was last seen riding his bike with a friend near his home at 2929 Stevens Dr. Wednesday evening around 6 or 7 p.m.
His parents have reported him missing.
At this time there is no indication of foul play.
Police are currently canvasing the area where the child lives and a reverse 911 has been sent out for the immediate area.
BPD is asking anyone who may have seen him or his bike to call police immediately at 979-361-3888.
Rodriguez is approximately four feet tall and 100 pounds. He was last seen wearing black shorts and a white or light green shirt.
He was riding a dark grey bicycle with green rims.
