Missing Bryan Woman With Autism Has Been Found

At 8:15 p.m. Peyton McCay was located safe and sound. As it became dark she emerged from a nearby creek where she had been hiding. She is being examined by EMS but appears to be ok.

The Bryan Police Department needs your help in locating a 21 year old adult female diagnosed with Autism:

21 year old Peyton McVay functions as a 12-13 year old.

McVay, who is five foot four and 120 pounds, was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and shorts that are either plaid or tie dye colors in pink, orange, and blue.

McVay was last seen in her home in the 600 block of Esther Blvd. around 12:30 pm today (Thursday, 5/30/2019).

Family looked for her for approximately an hour prior to calling for police assistance because she has been known to hide.

Police are currently canvasing the area and checking local businesses.

BPD is asking anyone who may have seen her to immediately call 979-361-3888.
