Looking For Vehicle Burglars, A Purse Snatcher, And Fugitives

Local law enforcement received 21 reports of vehicle burglaries on Monday.

14 were in College Station, where windows were busted to gain entry. Most locations were off the freeway between Rock Prairie Road and Southwest Parkway. Other vehicles were parked on University, Krenek Tap, and Arrington.

The remaining seven were in Bryan. Two were reported on Gato Lane and Broken Arrow Circle, off Villa Maria, west of 2818. Three more occurred a mile and a half away on the other side of 2818 on Silver Spur Circle and Forest Bend. Four of the seven vehicles hit in Bryan were not locked.

Bryan police is looking for the person who stole a customer’s purse at Jack in the Box on Texas Avenue on 9/25/16. If you recognize these persons of interest you are asked to call BPD at 979-209-5300 or Brazos County Crime Stoppers at 979-775-TIPS. Refer to case #16-0901144.

Bryan police received a tip on Julio Martinez’ location today after someone saw postings. He was arrested without incident.
