Local Man Killed Crossing Bryan Highway

A pedestrian struck and killed by a car in northwest Bryan over the weekend has been identified. Bryan Police Officer Jason James said a tip led to finding the family of the victim, 42 year old Albert Garza.

Garza was hit early Saturday morning, just before 3 a.m., on West Highway 21, near Newton Street. Officers were told the car was in the inside lane when the man ran across the street and was struck.
