Four to six inches of rain in College Station on Sunday resulted in a few issues reported by city officials.
That includes more than 365,000 gallons of domestic wastewater that spilled out of Bee Creek and Wolf Pen Creek at five locations. No environmental issues are expected because of the runoff from the heavy rains and the spills were farther than a half mile from any water wells.
Sunday’s storm also put a delay in College Station Utilities repairing a leaking 24 inch water main near Towerpoint along the freeway. And a minor sinkhole was found a Castlerock Park, which was fenced off.
There were no major flood related issues in Bryan over the weekend, according to city officials.
