Local Drivers Arrested Again, Man Looking For His Cell Phone Is Arrested, And Bond Raised For Accused Drug Dealer

The 40th time a Bryan man is booked in the Brazos County jail, it’s for driving with an invalid license with three prior convictions. 62 year old Preston Wiggins Jr. is out of jail on bond following his arrest by Bryan police that began with a traffic stop for going 35 miles per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone. Wiggins was also arrested for fleeing…according to the arrest report…after he didn’t stop for about one mile. According to the arrest report, the owner of the car told the officer she wanted Wiggins to wash the car. In addition to the prior convictions, Wiggins has 19 current suspensions on his driver’s license.

A Bryan woman is out of jail after posting bond on a charge of driving without a license with two prior convictions. According to the Bryan police arrest report, 25 year old Brittini Pryor has 21 D-L suspensions and eight driving related convictions. She was arrested after an officer on routine patrol did a traffic stop after seeing the car’s registration expired last March.

A Hearne man who was convicted of driving with an invalid license in May in Milam County and in August in Robertson County was arrested for the same offense in Bryan. According to the arrest report from the Brazos County sheriff’s office, a deputy was checking a truck loaded with lumber that was shifting. The deputy also learned the suspension on the license held by 47 year old Darrell Browning was set to end on October 25th.

A College Station man is in jail after a woman accused him of pointing a shotgun at her chest. According to a College Station police news release, 21 year old Michael Wells Jr. was one of several college aged students tracking stolen phones Saturday around two in the morning at The Woodlands apartments. According to the arrest report, Wells told police he kept his shotgun in an upward direction when he wanted to scare the victims into letting him enter their apartment. Wells was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

A College Station police officer persuaded a judge to raise the bond of an accused drug dealer to $200,000 dollars. According to a letter written by the officer, 33 year old Christopher Cummings was out on an $8,000 dollar bond from an arrest on August 9th where he is accused of having more than two pounds of methamphetamine. Cummings was arrested again on September 19th for possessing two ounces of meth. And Cummings told the officer he continued attempting to distribute meth throughout the Brazos Valley.
