The Bank and Trust of Bryan/College Station to merge with Texas Enterprise Bank

For Immediate Release

September 22, 2009

BRYAN, Texas – Long-time local banker Tim Bryan and Texas Enterprise Bank Chairman Ramiro Galindo announced today that the Bryan/College Station branches of The Bank and Trust of Del Rio will be merged into Texas Enterprise Bank headquartered in Bryan pursuant to executed agreements. The result will be a locally owned community bank with nearly $200 million in assets. This new banking company will take advantage of the rapid growth of The Bank and Trust here in Bryan/College Station and the established operations of Texas Enterprise Bank.

Under the proposed merger, a group led by Bryan, his former First National Bank management team and local investors will purchase a controlling interest in Texas Enterprise which will be formally renamed The Bank and Trust of Bryan/College Station. The newly renamed bank will simultaneously purchase all assets and assume all liabilities of The Bank and Trust
