An elderly Bryan man awaiting trial on a charge of shooting someone five years ago has been found guilty of shooting another man last November.
The Brazos County district attorney’s office announced a jury last week sentenced 73 year old Charles Dunn to life in prison.
The jury heard from the victim, who underwent emergency life saving surgery after he was shot in the chest during an argument over a game of dominoes inside the Green Hornet bar in west Bryan.
Five witnesses to the shooting also testified, along with the victim of the 2014 shooting that took place next to the bar during an argument over where that victim parked his car.
The DA’s office says Dunn’s criminal history includes shooting a man in 1990 and injury to a child in 1994.
