The number of Brazos County residents taking advantage of early voting will be higher than the last presidential election.
Elections administrator Trudy Hancock says through 8 p.m. Thursday, 36,503 have voted. That’s up from 34,144 in 2012.
For those who waited until the last day, Hancock says you can vote if you are in line by 8 p.m. Friday at any of five voting centers.
If you vote on Tuesday in Brazos County, 26 voting centers are open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. More information is online at brazosvotes.org.
Most of this year’s early voting continues to be at the College Station Utilities meeting room on Graham Road. As of 8 p.m. Thursday, the count was 14,290.
The count at the Texas A&M Memorial Student Center was 8,240, the count at the Brazos County administration building was 7,371, at Arena Hall in Bryan the count was 4,841, and the count at Galilee Baptist Church in Bryan was 1,761.
There are 106,821 registered voters in Brazos County.
