Kluber No-Hits Rangers; Altuve, Gurriel Power Astros Past A’s

For the second time this season, the Texas Rangers have been no-hit.

Former teammate Corey Kluber walked one and struck out 9 in a 2-0 New York Yankees win last night.

Kluber’s no-hitter was the 6th so far this season, and the second in as many nights.

It was also New York’s first no-no since David Cone’s perfect game in 1999.

Out in Oakland, Jose Altuve homered on the first-pitch of the game and Yuli Gurriel drove in four to lead the Astros over the A’s, 8-1.

With the victory, Houston is now just half a game behind Oakland for first-place in the AL West.
