College Station Police are investigating the kidnapping and sexual assault of a woman early Saturday morning. The victim reported being abducted around 2:00 a.m. in the Northgate district by two black men and one Hispanic man. She told investigators one of the black men struck her in the head and she was forced into a car, where she was driven to an apartment where the assault took place. She was then driven to a residential area where she was released. She walked to a service station and contacted an ambulance where she was transported to the hospital. No further description of the suspects was released.
Saturday night in a 75 minute span, College Station Police was notified of two armed robberies, bringing the number of December holdups to five.
The first was north of Northgate around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of College Main and Cherry. Two men said they were walking south on College Main from Cherry when they were approached by a black male with a silver gun wearing a black jacket. The suspect ran north and no one was injured. Police received the report two hours after the robbery occured.
The second, shortly before 7:30 p.m., was in the in the parking lot of an apartment complex on San Pedro Drive, off Welsh south of Harvey Mitchell Parkway. The 28 year old victim told officers that he was approached by a man who pointed a small hand gun at the victim and demanded the victim’s wallet. The actor then fled on foot. The victim was not hurt. The Bryan Police K-9 unit provided assistance with the search of the area, but the suspect was not found. The suspect description is a black man approximately 20 years of age, approximately six feet tall and 160 pounds, and wearing black colored shirt and pants.
