Officially, the undercover military training exercise nicknamed Jade Helm 15 could be in Brazos and Burleson counties through September 15.

According to Texas A&M police (UPD) and Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk, they believe the special operations forces have left the area.

Military representatives of the exercise have not responded to requests for an update.

According to a presentation military officials made to the Brazos County commission last February, their presence in Brazos County was scheduled for the week of August 15.

UPD and the sheriff both report receiving no requests to investigate incidents since August 15 from either the military or the public.

The training was based at Texas A&M’s Disaster City and Riverside campus.
