Interchange Near Easterwood Airport Will Close Temporarily After Texas A&M Graduation Weekend

The Monday after Texas A&M graduation weekend, the new interchange under construction near Easterwood Airport will close for nearly one and a half weeks.

The TxDOT district office in Bryan reports thru traffic will continue on FM 2818/Harvey Mitchell Parkway.

But traffic on FM 60/Raymond Stotzer Parkway will be closed from Monday, May 13 at 9 a.m. through Wednesday, May 22.

This closure also includes all interchange ramps.

This is the last step to complete the $14 million dollar diverging diamond interchange, which began in March 2017.

This closure will allow final surfacing and pavement markings, and adjust roadway grades.

Easterwood Airport will be accessible by using F&B Road and Turkey Creek Road.
