Hearne police arrest a juvenile on charges of threatening to commit a shooting and blow up a school.

The department’s Facebook page says the arrest followed a search of the juvenile’s home north of Benchley.

The threats caused Hearne ISD to cancel Thursday (September 19) classes and after school activities.

The juvenile, whose age and gender were not released, was charged with making a terroristic threat.

Hearne ISD’s Facebook page said as of Thursday at noon, classes would resume on Friday.
