A Bryan man will serve up to three years in prison after entering plea agreements in five Brazos County district court criminal cases. Punishment was combined for 22 year old Marco Solis. Initially, Solis was placed on probation for assaulting a man and a woman over the age of 65 five years ago, and another elderly victim three years ago. According to court records, Solis has violated terms of his probation 31 times over a 15 month period. A majority of the violations involve failing to submit for drug and alcohol tests. Solis pleaded guilty violating probation and also to a drunk driving charge that took place in April.

A Bryan man admitting to drunk driving for the second time and a felony theft of $2,500 dollars with two or more prior convictions led him to jail for the 41st time in almost 30 years. 58 year old Gary Crawford’s DWI arrest took place four months ago after a Brazos County sheriff’s deputy stopped a minivan because the license plate light wasn’t working. The theft took place in July of last year. The plea agreement covering both cases did not include paying restitution.
