Guilty Plea To Fourth DWI And Bond Revoked In Pending DWI Trial

A Hearne woman who crashed her pickup truck northwest of Bryan just over two years ago has admitted to drunk driving for the fourth time. As part of a plea agreement, 55 year old Debra Macks was sentenced to five years. According to the DPS arrest report, no one else was in the truck at the time she drove off Smetana Road to avoid hitting an animal.

Shortly before the first anniversary of Bryan police arresting a College Station man on a DWI charge with one prior conviction, he is back in jail on charges of violating his bond. 48 year old Quintin Tucker was released again after bond was increased from $5,000 to $8,000 dollars. According to online records, Tucker has until August 13th to decide whether to enter pleas for the second DWI, driving without a license with prior convictions, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. The new bond is the result of 16 violations that includes admitting to using PCP and alcohol and failing to report three times to his pre-trial bond supervision officer.
