A Bryan man arrested while trying to drive out of a Northgate parking garage last February is headed to prison.

22 year old Tyler Pearson entered a plea agreement with the Brazos County district attorney’s office in four felony criminal cases dating back more than four years.

Pearson was arrested in February for possessing a gun as a convicted felon. That’s after a city of College Station parking employee saw a pistol while assisting the driver out of the garage. When an off duty Grimes County sheriff’s investigator working security told Pearson to get out of his truck, the gun fell out.

Prosecutors say the four year sentence covers the February arrest and revoking probation from felony drug possession convictions in 2017 and 2018 and burglary of a habitation in April 2016.
