The Grimes County man found guilty of murder in the Bryan workplace shooting in April 2021 has admitted to shooting a DPS trooper who was trying to apprehend him.

The Grimes County district attorney has announced a plea agreement where Larry Bollin was sentenced to life for attempted capital murder of the trooper who lost his left eye.

The agreement requires Bollin to plead guilty to wounding co-workers at the time of the workplace shooting and waive appeal on all cases in Brazos and Grimes counties.

The Grimes County D-A posted on her Facebook page that she prays this gives the wounded trooper and the Brazos County victims a measure of justice.
