Gardening Advice Available at the BV Farmers Market

Longtime gardeners are getting prepared for spring and summer crops.

Patrick Gendron of the Brazos Valley Farmers Market says the last two weeks of sub-freezing temperatures has been a good thing, getting rid of destructive bugs among other things.

Gendron invites those with a green thumb who are interested in learning how to get started, to visit with Farmers Market vendors.

Comments from Patrick Gendron, visiting with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.

The farmers market is in downtown Bryan at the corner of Texas and William Joel Bryan Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. until noon.

This Saturday, February 12th, will be special Valentine’s Day activities for all ages.
