Garbage Truck Wreck Knocks Out Signal

On June 28, 2016 at approximately 1:15 pm Officers responded to a collision at Hwy 30 and FM 158. A 2003 Red Chevy 4-door car was traveling westbound on FM 158 and failed to yield right of way turning left onto Harvey Road striking a City of Bryan Garbage Truck traveling Eastbound on Boonville. The Garbage truck then veered off the roadway striking the signal light pole on the North east corner of the intersection.

The driver of the car was transported to Scott and White and the driver of the Garbage truck was transported to CHI St. Joseph Hospital. Both are considered to have non-life threatening injuries.

The signal light will be out for an extended period of time.
