Friday Crash Kills Bryan Man

A two vehicle crash south of College Station Friday night killed a Bryan man and injured three others.

DPS identified the fatality as 61 year old Pedro Antonio Cisneros.

A passenger in his car, 54 year old Maria Cruz of Bryan, was transported to College Station Medical Center in critical condition.

Investigators were told Cisneros was backing up in the shoulder of the southbound Highway 6 to assist a stranded motorist when the car was struck by a southbound pickup that had veered off the driving lane.

The driver of the truck, 46 year old Johanna Blevins of Navasota, told investigators she was checking the mirrors when the pickup moved into the shoulder.

Blevins and a passenger, identified as an 11 year old boy, were taken to the Med where they were treated for injuries and released.
