Four Arrests In Separate Cases Of Aggravated Assault, Thefts, Violating Bond Conditions, And Illegal Driving

A Bryan man is out on bonds totaling $120,000 dollars after he was arrested on charges of using his pickup truck to rear end his ex-girlfriend’s car multiple times while she was driving with her two children and a sister inside the vehicle. According to the Bryan police arrest report, there were two witnesses to the truck and car going an estimated 80 miles per hour on Groesbeck Sunday night. The witnesses reported after the truck hit the car, the car lost control and almost struck a parked vehicle with someone inside. 20 year old Jordan Gonzalez, who was arrested on four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, told officers his ex-girlfriend caused the collisions by brake-checking her car. The arrest report also noted Gonzalez is not the father of the children, who are four months and two and a half years old. BPD reported no visible signs of injury to the mother, the children, and the mother’s 13 year old sister.

A College Station man is in the Brazos County jail for the second time in two months. According to College Station police arrest reports, 20 year old David Rambo was driving a stolen motorcycle as he eluded officers while exiting a storage complex. After Rambo crashed, he is accused of running into the woods at Wolf Pen Creek before he was caught. In a separate incident, Rambo tells Bryan police according to the arrest report he stole a skid steer then sold it to pay probation costs from another case. Before all that, Rambo was picked up by College Station police according to jail records on warrants from Madison County accusing him of of armed robbery and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Rambo remains jailed on bonds from the two most recent cases, totaling $38,000 dollars.

An 18 year old Bryan man awaiting four trials in Brazos County district court on charges that includes armed robbery, returned to jail after having his bonds revoked. Jukorey Johnson was released after posting new bonds totaling $100,000 dollars. Johnson is accused of holding up two men at gunpoint and taking two handguns near Bryan’s Bonham Park in January of last year. Johnson is also awaiting trials on three misdemeanor charges…assault causing bodily injury from January of this year, DWI from December of last year, and a theft from August of 2018.

A domestic disturbance inside a north Bryan hotel room leads to the arrest of a Denton man on six charges. Bryan police responding Monday at two in the morning to the Days Inn along the freeway visited with a man in the parking lot about what happened between him and his girlfriend. According to the arrest report, officers found a pistol with 13 bullets, ecstasy, marijuana, and THC wax. 23 year old Jesse Franco Martinez was arrested on weapons and drug charges, along with driving with an invalid license with prior convictions. The arrest report noted Martinez’s driving record included 15 suspensions and ten convictions. Martinez is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $29,000 dollars.
